Dr. Donald J. Siegel, O.D.

Dr. Siegel brings a unique backround to his practice. He was named as an Associate Clinical Professor of the University of Rochester School of Medicine and as an adjunct clinical faculty member at the University of California Berkeley and the University of Waterloo.

He has served as a senior optometrist at the University of California, San Francisco Medical Center, where he trained residents in fitting specialty contact lenses. Dr. Siegel's expertise is also in the care of pediatric and adult patients in need of specialized care, including infants born with cataracts and adults with Keratoconus and corneal injury.

Dr. Siegel has designed and conducted clinical trials for three major contact lens companies, including Bausch and Lomb. He has also conducted clinical studies for both U.S. and international eye care companies.  Dr. Siegel has been invited to speak at major optometric meetings such as the American Optometric Association, the American Academy of Optometry, the Arizona Optometric Association and the Alameda Optometric Society. Dr. Siegel has also lectured internationally at the Chinese Academy of Optometry and the British Contact Lens Association meetings.

Dr. Siegel has been a resident of Arizona for 18 years. In his spare time, he enjoys hiking, robotics, and spending time with his family.
